At the end of January 2009, there were 518 Active Listings in North Portland. There were 161 new listings with 55 pending sales and 22 closed sales. The average sales price was $232,100. Homes were on the market an average combined days of 132.

Entertainment in St. Johns
St. Johns has our very own McMenamins with a theater inside! Does it get any better than being able to eat while watching a movie? I think not!
If you feel like eating pizza, we have our very own pizza place in this cool building. It is located in Downtown St. Johns and adjacent to Safeway.
Living In St. Johns
Our Daily Bread Restaurant. Located in Downtown St. Johns. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is an old neighborhood establishment. It is located as you come off the St. Johns Bridge into St. Johns.
Want to do a little grocery shopping or grab a cup of coffee? Safeway is right by and within walking distance of Cathedral Park / St. Johns neighborhood. There is also a Wells Fargo located inside.
Types of Condos in St. Johns
Matthew Frank Condos in the heart of St. Johns. These condos were built in 2007 where the old Safeway used to be. They were built with energy efficiency and walkability in mind and were sold out very quickly. You are within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, libraries, schools, etc. Great place to live.
This is a newer condo project in St. Johns. They are just seconds away after getting off the St. Johns bridge into St. Johns.
St. Johns Police Station
The St. Johns Police Station. How lucky they are to be in this beautiful building and how lucky we are to have this building in our neighborhood. This building is on the right as you are coming off the St. Johns Bridge into Downtown St. Johns.
Downtown St. Johns
This is one of the older store fronts in Downtown St. Johns. It is amazing because you'll have an older building with lots of character, yet right across the street or next door is a completely updated building. See below.
This is one of the newer coffee shops in Downtown St. Johns. There is also a Starbucks a block away so try something new or stick with something you know.
St. Johns Bridge
Cross the St. Johns bridge and you'll be in Downtown and the Pearl in less than 15 minutes. You can also access HWY 30 to Sauvie Island or get on I-405 to Beaverton. I like to take the scenic route to Hillsboro via Germantown Road. The drive is about 20 minutes (without traffic) and it takes you past hiking trails, big trees and farm land. Be careful when it is rainy or snowy though- it is a windy road.
The St. Johns Bridge has four lanes total, 2 going each direction.
